Welcome to Maidstone Home Healthcare (“MHH”). By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.
1. Definitions 1.1. Maidstone Home Healthcare: Refers to our organization, services, and offerings, including but not limited to home healthcare services, memberships, and educational content. 1.2. Client: Refers to any individual or organization using our services. 1.3. Memberships: Refers to Club Membership and VIP Membership plans, including the associated benefits and features.
2. Memberships 2.1. MHH offers two types of memberships:
Club Membership: Provides general access to educational content from therapists and care partners, along with discounts on services for clients or their listed family members (up to 4 individuals).
VIP Membership: Includes all benefits of the Club Membership, plus personalized training videos or recorded therapy sessions. 2.2. Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law. 2.3. Members are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their listed family members.
3. Service Use 3.1. Services provided by MHH are for informational and caregiving purposes only and should not replace medical advice or treatment from qualified healthcare professionals. 3.2. Clients must provide accurate and complete information when requesting services. 3.3. MHH reserves the right to refuse service to clients who violate these terms.
4. Therapy Services 4.1. Therapy services provided by MHH include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and related rehabilitative care. 4.2. Clients must provide all necessary medical information to facilitate appropriate therapy services. 4.3. Therapy services are tailored to individual needs but do not guarantee specific outcomes or improvements. 4.4. Clients must adhere to prescribed therapy plans and follow professional recommendations for optimal results.
5. Counselling and Support Services 5.1. Counselling and support services offered by MHH include mental health counselling, caregiver support, and stress management. 5.2. These services are intended to provide guidance and emotional support but do not replace psychiatric or psychological treatment from licensed medical professionals. 5.3. MHH maintains confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws but may disclose information when required by law or in cases of imminent harm.
6. Postnatal and Postsurgical Care Services 6.1. MHH provides postnatal and postsurgical care services to support recovery and well-being. 6.2. Clients must disclose all relevant medical information, including surgical or postnatal instructions from their healthcare providers. 6.3. These services are designed to assist clients in recovery and do not replace follow-up care or medical consultations. 6.4. MHH caregivers are trained but do not provide invasive medical procedures or administer medications without prior agreement.
7. Respite Services 7.1. Respite services offered by MHH provide temporary relief for primary caregivers by taking over caregiving duties for a specified period. 7.2. Clients must provide detailed instructions about care requirements, including medical needs and emergency protocols. 7.3. Respite services are intended for temporary support and do not replace long-term or specialized care arrangements.
8. Educational Content 8.1. Educational materials provided through memberships are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission from MHH. 8.2. While MHH strives for accuracy, educational content is not guaranteed to be free of errors or omissions.
9. Payment and Billing 9.1. Clients agree to pay all applicable fees for services and memberships. 9.2. Late or failed payments may result in suspension or termination of services or memberships. 9.3. MHH uses secure third-party payment processors and does not store payment information directly.
10. Privacy and Data Protection 10.1. MHH is committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] for detailed information on how we collect, use, and safeguard your data. 10.2. Clients consent to the use of their information for service delivery and membership management.
11. Liability and Disclaimer 11.1. MHH is a social enterprise and does not guarantee specific outcomes from its services. 11.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MHH is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of its services. 11.3. Clients assume all responsibility for decisions made based on the use of MHH’s services or educational content.
12. Termination of Services 12.1. MHH reserves the right to terminate memberships or services for clients who violate these terms or engage in inappropriate behavior. 12.2. Clients may cancel memberships at any time by providing written notice. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with Section 2.2.
13. Changes to Terms of Service 13.1. MHH reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or the MHH website. 13.2. Continued use of MHH services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law 14.1. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario. 14.2. Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action.
